The Prince and the RC
The Nissan LEAF NISMO RC received the royal treatment on March 22, when Prince Albert II of Monaco drove the electric racing concept through the winding and hilly streets of the principality.
For the fourth time, Nissan was the official partner of EVER Monaco 2012, an annual international automotive show for ecological vehicles and renewable energy held in the Principality of Monaco.
Prince Albert II participated in the first edition of the Monaco Eco Luxury Tour, trying out the 100% electric, carbon fiber monocoque race car concept that – with NISMO – is helping to redefine the future of motorsports.
But royals weren’t the only ones able to drive LEAF vehicles. Nissan offered public test drives of the Nissan LEAF to EVER visitors.
Nissan also presented the e-NV200 Concept – following its European debut at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this month – which will go on sale globally in 2014.
