Nissan Wins Web Grandprix Awards
On December 7, the 5th Japan Web Grandprix took place in Suntory Hall in Tokyo, an event that began in 2007 to support further development of Japanese websites.
This year a total of 122 websites from 44 companies applied, the largest turnout ever.
Awards consist of 16 category Grandprix and three special awards. Each company can select one category to join, based on the purpose and characteristics of their site. One unique point of this award is that applicants also act as jury. This time, some 452 judges from participating companies rated the sites.
For Nissan, it was the first time to apply and our global website including this “Nissan Channel 23 Blog”, which you are now visiting, applied in the “Concept and Architecture” category. “The Planet Zero” site, a game type of website that highlights a zero emission society and EVs, applied in the “Content Planning & Writing (B2C)” category.
Our two websites won the respective Grandprix for each category, and that success would not have been possible without the support of internal team members and all vendors aiding website production.
Ultimately, all awards aim for further development of websites, and so we will look to improve our services and content, and welcome all your comments and suggestions in coming days.
