Racing is My Life: Ronnie Quintarelli
April 26- Verona, Italy – Ronnie Quintarelli came to Japan to race in 2003, and his multi-championship 12-year career was recognized by the Automobile Club Italia Verona in a ceremony on Sunday.
The Verona-born Quintarelli and Super GT NISMO teammate Tsugio Matsuda claimed the 2014 season title, while Ronnie earlier won championships with MOLA in 2011 and 2012, and then partner Masataka Yanagida.
Quintarelli is the most successful foreign driver on Japan’s Super GT circuit, and with eyes on his fourth title in 2015, he states his purpose in clear sentences:
“I love cars. I love racing. I love racing in Japan. I love my team and my teammates. Racing is my life.”
