April 21 – Shanghai – Nissan’s new Lannia and Murano Hybrid debuted at Auto Shanghai 2015, while the automaker also announced the sales China launch for the GT-R Nismo and 370Z Nismo.

“These innovative vehicles represent the start of an exciting new chapter in the story of Nissan’s presence in, and commitment to, China,” said Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn.

“The all-new Lannia and the new Murano HEV will lead the way forward.”


Evolved from the Friend-ME concept and Lannia Concept, Lannia is the first car developed and designed for young Chinese, especially those in their 20s and 30s, seen as trendsetters.

The All-New Nissan Lannia

Lannia, equipped with integrated infotainment technologies, smartphone connectivity and many advanced Nissan safety features, will be available this autumn in China.

Murano Hybrid

This hybrid version of the Nissan flagship crossover will bring more sustainable mobility options to China and enhance SUV offerings.

Nissan Murano Hybrid

The Murano Hybrid, equipped with the new supercharged QR25DER gasoline engine and an electric motor paired with a compact Lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery, will be on sale from summer in China.

GT-R Nismo and 370Z Nismo

Nissan also announced the start of sales of the GT-R Nismo and 370Z Nismo, vehicles that embody Nissan’s motorsports heritage.

The Auto Shanghai 2015 will run from April 20 to April 29.
