Oyama, Shizuoka Prefecture – Nov. 30 – The best of past, present and future performance vehicles was on display at the Nismo Festival on Sunday, an event celebrating 30 years of motorsports excellence.

Nismo, Nissan and Datsun drivers from former and current teams piloted cars at Fuji Speedway, including the Nismo Super GT team of Tsugio Matsuda and Ronnie Quintarelli who won the 2014 GT500 championship.

Driving and gaming champions from GT Academy, including Lucas Ordonez and Jann Mardenborough, offered a link to the next generation of motorsports heroes. 

With over 30,000 fans attending, highlights of the day included a classic car parade, GT-R and 370Z drifting, and a racing finale with Nismo drivers in R35 GT-R cars.



Live on-line streaming of the Nismo Festival was carried throughout the day in Japanese and English, allowing fans in Japan and around the world to watch as well, while those at Fuji Speedway had numerous photograph opportunities with the drivers and cars, as well as a day at the Fuji circuit to remember.
