Developing Datsun for Indonesia
May 8 – Jakarta – Datsun launched on Thursday its first car for the Indonesia market, the Datsun GO+, which will be produced at Nissan Motor’s new plant in Purwakarta, West Java.
The global Datsun team specifically developed the car to be durable, accessible and comfortable, meeting the needs of the “Riser” generation in Indonesia, who value the mobility and status of the MPV.
The brand’s first model, the Datsun GO+, will be included in the Indonesian government’s Low Cost Green Car (LCGC) initiative and the official name of the car in Indonesia will be Datsun GO+ Panca.
Datsun GO+ Panca is also a first in price and value in the Indonesian family car market, and in the LCGC.
Indonesian customers can begin placing orders from Thursday for the new car, with first deliveries scheduled from June.
