Leading the Charge
April 12 – Oslo – Norwegians know that owning an electric vehicle in Oslo is very convenient. Owners of EVs have access to free parking, free standard charging (at any of the roughly 3,500 chargers), and use of the bus lane.
And Nissan LEAF sales are booming in the country, with more than 3,300 units sold since October 2011. In 2012, LEAF vehicles were 1.7 percent of total car sales. Norway is the first country in which a driving exam was passed in an electric car.
