December 3 – Druskininkai, Lithuania – World’s strongest man Zydrunas Savickas set a new Guinness world record for “Most Cars Pulled By One Man”, towing 12 new Nissan Notes, weighing a total of 12,941 kg.

The 170-kg Lithuanian, five-time World Strongest Man champion, only had one attempt to set the new record, in which he used a specialized harness and rope arrangement.

“Big Z” pulled the 12 Nissan Notes over five meters in a staggering 32.9 seconds, and was presented with an official certificate from Guinness World Records to mark the feat.
